March Spread: Playful Abstraction

I knew for March I needed to simplify in my bullet journal. Between travelling and nursing a broken foot, I couldn't commit to a theme that took too much thought or time.

I found this fun notebook-esque sketchy style on Pinterest (checkout my Pinterest page here for my inspiration).

All my inspiration images left a lot of negative space (which I love) but when I started to doodle, I couldn't stop and the design page became total chaos. I hated it at first but every time I opened to the monthly spread, I found joy in the colours and I'm happy I tried something different.

I think I'll revisit this theme again in the future with less colours and more empty space.
